EURADOS Irradiation Facilities
The objective of EURADOS is to advance the scientific understanding and the technical development of the dosimetry of ionising radiation, in the fields of radiation protection, radiobiology, radiation therapy and medical diagnosis, by the stimulation of collaboration between European laboratories, especially those of the European Communities. It is a non-profit making organisation.
EURADOS is undertaking the collection and dissemination of information on resources within the EU regarding irradiation facilities and special equipment for dosimetry research. Several EU laboratories also operate expensive, often unique, research facilities which are not necessarily well known by others.
You may be interested to retrieve information on facilities at your disposal in Europe. A simple database query form is now available. EURADOS is planning to make the information available in other formats as well, e.g. in a brochure of facility information.
If you are running a facility of your own and think its use may be interesting for other researchers in Radiation Dosimetry, then you are invited to participate by inputting information into the database. Email thomas.otto@cern.ch with a one line description of the facility, to obtain a login name and password.
